Policybazaar SMVD Katra Half Marathon - 4th Edition Draws Massive Participation

KATRA, July 24: The spiritual town of Katra came alive with energy and excitement as the 4th edition of the Policybazaar SMVD Katra Half Marathon unfolded with resounding success. The event attracted over 1100 registered runners and witnessed an impressive footfall of more than 3500, including spectators, volunteers, and locals.
The event was proudly organized by 1 Level Up Sports.
The marathon was flagged off in the presence of Chief Guest Sh. Baldev Raj Sharma, Hon'ble MLA, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Constituency, and Guest of Honour Sh. Alok Kumar Maurya, Additional CEO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Katra.
The event was further graced by Special Guests - Sh. Dhruv Gupta, Assistant CEO, SMVDSB, and Sh. Vinay Khajuria, Assistant Conservator of Forests, SMVDSB, Katra - whose presence reflected the shared commitment to health, environment, and community.
With multiple race categories, the marathon route offered a scenic yet challenging track through the foothills of the Trikuta mountains. It created a dynamic platform to celebrate fitness, unity, and spirit.
