Nova IVF Fertility launches 100th Centre in Jammu
7/24/2025 10:26:08 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 24: Nova IVF Fertility has inaugurated its 100th centre in Jammu, addressing the region's fertility challenges as Jammu and Kashmir's Total Fertility Rate drops to 1.4-well below the replacement level of 2.1. Although marriage age is within expected norms, delayed medical intervention and social stigma still deter timely fertility treatment. Nova's expansion into Jammu aligns with its vision of offering accessible, high-quality fertility care beyond metro cities.
"With over 100 IVF centres in 63 cities, including 28 in North India, Nova is committed to making fertility services more accessible," said Mr Sameer Malik, Regional Business Head. The Jammu centre is equipped with advanced labs and adheres to European clinical protocols to ensure safety and consistency.
Dr Sonia Malik, Chief Clinical Mentor, emphasized the importance of skilled embryologists, noting that 90% of IVF cycles use the couple's own eggs and sperm. Fertility issues may be increasingly linked to sedentary lifestyles, PCOS, and substance use. Dr Poonam Pandotra, Fertilty Specialist, at Nova IVF, Jammu highlighted the need for early intervention among couples
Part of Asia Healthcare Holdings, Nova IVF Fertility has enabled over 92,000+ pregnancies.
