Jammu, May 1: Barely 15 days of unearthing a sex racket in posh Trikuta Nagar locality of the Winter Capital, the Police have busted yet another brothel being run with impunity in the same area.
A Trikuta Nagar Police party led by SHO Abdul Wahid Giri raided a private residence and arresting five persons, including two women and a minor, from a rented house of a Junior Engineer in R&B department here in the posh colony.
When the police party raided the house situated in sector number 3 Extension, a residential area, all five were found in compromising position inside the house.
The police party also recovered six mobile phones and one lap top from inside the room besides seizing a Maruti swift vehicle parked near the house. The veil on flesh trade was opened when the owner of the house informed police that his tenant is running a flesh trade in his house. Soon after the information a police team included SHO Trikuta Nagar Abdul Wahid Giri, SDPO East Sandeep Mehta, SP South Mubisser under the supervision of SSP Jammu Manohar Singh conducted a raid in the house and arrested five persons in compromising position. The house was on rent by one Anjali wife of Rajat Sood resident of Ludhiana for the last year and the same was being used as brothel house. Giving information police said that early in the morning a Delhi based youth Ajay along with a girl namely Sofia resident of Kishtwar arrived in the house in a Swift car bearing registration number JK02AA,4163,soon after some time another youth identified as Sunny son of Sushil Kumar Gupta ,a chemist shop owner, resident of Rehari arrived in the house with a lady namely Bimla which made the family of the JEE suspicious. When police raided in the house Ajay and Sofia were found in compromising position in one room while as Bimla and Sunny found in another room in compromising position assisting by Anjali . A ten year minor girl of Anjali was also arrested by police. A laptop, six mobiles and some condoms were also recovered from the spot. Where as Police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter. More recoveries and revelation are expected, sources confirmed.
