Mandi Gobindgarh, July 27: Desh Bhagat University (DBU) successfully organized its Information and Counselling Centre (ICC) Partners Meet in Ludhiana with the aim of empowering educational leaders and enhancing student guidance.
The event brought together ICC partners, educational counselors, and regional representatives from Punjab and neighboring states. The goal was to equip them with in-depth knowledge about DBU’s academic offerings and enhance their capacity to guide prospective students effectively.
The event was graced by Dr. Sandeep Singh, President of Desh Bhagat University, as the chief guest, and Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor of DBU, as the Guest of Honor.
In his keynote address, Dr. Sandeep Singh highlighted the crucial role ICC partner’s play in furthering DBU’s mission of delivering accessible, inclusive, and quality education.
Earlier, during an interaction with media persons here today, Dr. Sandeep Singh emphasized that this strategic program provided participants with detailed insights and resources related to DBU’s Regular Degree Programs, Online Learning Courses, Open and Distance Learning (ODL), and the DBU Americas International Education Track. Participants also received expert guidance and support to strengthen their counseling capabilities.
Speaking at the occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti stated that the sessions were designed to ensure that counseling teams at ICC centers are well-prepared to assist students during the upcoming admissions with clarity, integrity, and confidence.
Dr. Sadawarti remarked “Our ICC partners are not just associates; they are an extension of DBU’s vision. This meet reflects our shared commitment to student success. When our counselors are empowered with knowledge and clarity, together we can guide thousands of students toward the right academic path.”
He appreciated the ongoing support of the ICC network and expressed hope for more such interactive events in the future.
Prominent personalities, including Mr. Tara Chand Saini, General Manager of DBU, were also present at the event.
