Celebrations of Kargil Vijay Diwas at Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi held | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 27: Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed every year on 26th July to commemorate India's resounding victory over Pakistan during the Kargil War of 1999. On this historic day, the Indian Army courageously reclaimed strategic outposts along the Line of Control (LoC), showcasing extraordinary valor and commitment. The day honours the indomitable spirit and supreme sacrifice of the nation's brave soldiers. As part of the observance, the Indian Army organized a commemorative event at Government school situated in Rajouri, Poonch and Reasi district. The programme commenced with an awareness lecture that shed light on the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and paid homage to the heroes of the conflict.
