Early Times Report
RAJOURI, July 27: On the occasion of auspicious month of Shravanamas, SVS Gyan Ganga Math, Rajouri becomes devotional with "Maha Shiv Abhishek" pujan performed at Shiv Mandir in the ashram here on Sunday morning under the supervision of His Holiness Atal Pithadhishwar Rajguru Achraya Mahamandleshwar Shri Shri 1008 Shri Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj along with group of acharyas and devotees who came here from different parts of the district as well as from other parts of the country. During the pujan, Swami Ji said that there is no better teacher than Shiva to end the disorientation of life. Make Shiva your Guru for a happy life.Ask them for answers to your questions, problem solving, wish fulfillment and angelic help. Lord Shiva belongs to everyone who has to go somewhere to get him. After that a huge Bhandara was also organised in the ashram where Prashad was distributed among the devotees. After that, Swami Ji proceeded towards Shiv Mandir, Lamberi where another "Maha Shiv Abhishek" pujan was performed in the afternoon with same procedure. In Shiv Abhishek Pujan the Shivling is bathed with Water, Milk, Ghee, Curd, and Honey followed by an offering of Bilva Leaves, essential for gaining Shiva's blessings. Chanting of Powerful mantras like "Om Namah Shivaya" and Maha Mrityunjaya are also recited during the pujan for spiritual energy and protection.
It is pertinent to mention here that Shiv Puja is being organized everyday in the evening on the occasion of holy Sawan month (Shravanmas) at Gyan Ganga Math, Shiv Kashi, Sunderbani. A large number of devotees are reaching there for the worship. On this occasion, Shri Swami Ji Maharaj is telling the devotees in detail about the month of Sawan through his discourses. During this, he said that there is no other Guru than Lord Shiva. In his discourses, Swamiji said that Shivatva is a mysterious element. No one knows the true essence of Pinakdhari Shiva. But as it has been said that only you know your pageant and no one else knows. That's why only Shiva can explain the element of Shiva. He himself appears again and again and makes this rare element of his accessible. This corporeal form of his is addressed by the name of Guru. Therefore, when Shiv Shankar himself became a Guru in the form of a body. Incarnates, then only they can reveal their Shivatva. This also proves that the Guru who imparts the knowledge of Shiva is the form of Shiva himself.
