Prominent ladies from Bahu Constituency demand induction of Ritika Trehan into BJP's parental body
7/27/2025 10:31:19 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 27: Several prominent ladies from Bahu Constituency have expressed strong resentment and raised their voices in support of inducting Ritika Trehan, Chief Spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha J&K UT, into the parental body. They have demanded that the party high command review their decision and suitably induct Ritika into the party's organizational structure.
The ladies have expressed disappointment and frustration over the recent list of new office bearers for J&K UT, which seemingly ignored Ritika's hard work, dedication, and contributions to the party. They believe that Ritika's experience and leadership skills would be a valuable asset to the party's parental body.
The ladies have urged the party high command to review their decision and consider inducting Ritika into the parental body. They believe that this would not only be a recognition of Ritika's efforts but also a boost to the party's efforts to empower women and promote their participation in politics.
They said Ritika Trehan has been a dedicated and hardworking member of the BJP Mahila Morcha, serving as its Chief Spokesperson in J&K UT. Her leadership and oratory skills have been instrumental in promoting the party's agenda and policies among women and marginalized communities.
The demand for Ritika's induction into the parental body is a testament to her popularity and respect among the party workers and leaders. It is hoped that the party high command will take note of this demand and consider inducting Ritika into the parental body, recognizing her contributions and dedication to the party, they added.
Addressing media persons in Jammu Entrepreneur Esha Modi said :Today, all of us women have gathered here in support of Ritika Ji because we feel very rejected and dejected that her name has not appeared in any parental (decision-making) body.We have seen her journey from the beginning. When Ritika Ji joined the BJP, she pledged to dedicate herself to the party every single day. Whether it was helping poor girls get married or educating them, she was always there.
When the soil from Ayodhya arrived, Ritika Ji went barefoot, door to door, delivering that sacred soil to every house in Gandhinagar - as though she was bringing blessings from Ayodhya through the BJP. Whenever we face problems, there's only one name that comes to our mind: Ritika Trehan, and we want to see her as our leader.
So, my appeal to party high command is to please consider Ritika Ji for inclusion in a parental body, because whenever we women face any issue, she's the only one we can go to.We are very disappointed that her name wasn't included, and we request you to induct her, so she continues to inspire us. We - especially the youth - are deeply inspired by her. She has no political background, yet she joined from scratch, made a name for herself, and created an impact on us youth. So our appeal is: if we cannot see our role model in a rightful position, how can we be motivated to join the BJP? With folded hands, I request you to please consider our leader Ritika Trehan in the parental body, so she continues to inspire us and we keep working for the BJP.
Dr. Sandeep Khosla said :I met Ritika Ji through Sparkle Care group and some mutual friends. She is a very hardworking person. During Randhawa Ji's election campaign, she came to our Gandhinagar constituency and did door-to-door campaigning.I request Randhawa Ji, Ashok Kaul Ji, and Sat Sharma Ji & Tarun Chugh ji to also request her induction into a parental body.As a doctor, I feel this personally. Nobody ever steps up for doctors. When a girl was raped in Bengal, Ritika Ji was the only BJP representative who came forward. She held a candle march. No other leader came.
When a female at Doda Medical College was misbehaved with by an MLA, she stood against the MLA - and these are not small things for a woman. She has been appointed as a board member of the Women Harassment Cell in industries. If any woman faces harassment in any industry, she's among the government/BJP-appointed board members. So I don't understand what the selection criteria are for a parental body. Whenever we have any work, we go straight to her.
