DC distributes 48 sanction letters to beneficiaries under Mission YUVA | | | Early Times Report
REASI, July 28: In a major stride towards fostering youth entrepreneurship, Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik today handed over loan sanction letters to 48 young entrepreneurs under Mission YUVA initiative. The beneficiaries hailing from different parts of the district will receive financial support to launch and develop their own business ventures. The distribution ceremony was held in the presence of ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal; CEO, AD Employment, CAO, CHO, DSHO, LDM Reasi, Cluster Head JK Bank and other key district officials. Addressing the gathering, the DC congratulated the selected beneficiaries and lauded the collaborative efforts of the district officers and banking institutions. She emphasized that the district’s focused outreach and extensive awareness campaign has resulted in a remarkable response from even the most remote areas. The DC emphasised that the Mission YUVA is more than just a financial support scheme—it is a movement to cultivate self-reliance and entrepreneurial spirit among our youth. She urged the beneficiaries to use the financial assistance wisely and work towards building sustainable and dignified livelihoods. During the event, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with young entrepreneurs, who shared their business plans and aspirations. One individual from the remote area of Mahore shared plans to open a bakery shop. A woman entrepreneur proposed launching a local Dogri cuisine food outlet featuring organic products. Other ideas included setting up a mobile repair shop and hardware stores. The Deputy Commissioner assured them of continuous support from the administration and urged banking institutions to ensure timely processing of loans and provide proper handholding to beneficiaries throughout the process. “By distributing these sanction letters publicly, we aim to inspire more youth to come forward, explore their potential and leverage the opportunities offered under Mission YUVA,” she added. The initiative marks a significant step towards empowering the youth of Reasi and promoting a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship and self-employment across the district. |
