| Police-Public meet held | | |
Doda Sept 23- SSP Doda Manohar Singh held a police-public meet at Khellani near here which was attended by about 100 prominent citizens from different walks of life and put forth their demands.
While hailing up gradation of High School Khelani, Bachiter Singh demanded immediate posting of Physics and Mathematics lecturers .He also raised the shortage of teachers in High Schools Malhori, Paryote and Hambal and said that in absence of the required staff the students were facing lot of problems.
S S Katoch Sarpanch demanded conversion of Ayurvedic dispensary of Hambal as allopathic dispensary besides constituting Village Defence Committees in the area while
Chuni Lal sought immediate supply of LPG and K Oil in the area
The SSP gave a patient hearing and assured that their problems would be taken up with the concerned authorities for immediate redressal.
Referring to the demand for early clearance of verification of the newly employed youth, the SSP assured that necessary instructions would be issued to all sub-ordinate formations for speedy disposal of the verifications to be conducted by the Police and as regards CID verification he said the matter would be taken up with CID.
The SSP cautioned the people to remain vigilant against the nefarious designs of the anti-national elements and help police in combating terrorism and normal crime and asked them to provide information to the police about the movement of ANEs for which they would be suitably rewarded and the name of the informer will be kept secret.
The people thanked SSP for organizing such meetings. |
