| Extension lecture on lesson planning held | | | Early Times report
Jammu, May 2: In continuation of extension lecture series at Dogra College of education Dr. J.N. Balia of department of education university of Jammu delivered a lecturer on ‘RCEN approach and lesson planning today’.
During course of lecture Dr. Balia explained the different approaches to lesson planning at B.Ed. level for classroom teaching. He stressed upon the use of RCEM approach in lesson planning as a pre-requisite to teaching in the class room. He deliberated upon the different stages and steps of this type of planning and discussed in detail each stage and steps with clarity of thought, ideas and expressions. At times he supplemented his lecture with useful and suitable examples related to the teaching learning situations in schools.
Earlier Dr. (Mrs.) Kiran Luthra Principal, Dogra College welcomed the speaker, Kr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary Dogra Educational Trust, Prof. B.D. Damral, Director Dogra College of Education were also present on the occasion while vote of thanks was moved by Mrs. Rajni Manhas.
