Jammu, July 31: Master Anand Bhagat, a student of Jammu Sanskriti School, brought pride to Jammu & Kashmir by winning the Gold Medal in the Under-14 category at the National Bocce Ball Championship, held from 25th to 29th July 2025 in Chhattisgarh. The prestigious event was organized by Special Olympics Bharat, with participation from 22 states across the country.
Anand was the only player representing Jammu & Kashmir in the Under-14 category, showcasing exceptional talent and determination on the national platform. On this proud occasion, Mrs. Rohini Aima, Principal of Jammu Sanskriti School, extended heartfelt congratulations to Anand and his coach Mr. Sunny Nanda, Assistant Director, Special Olympics Bharat J&K. A special note of gratitude goes to Anand’s family for their unwavering support and encouragement. Sincere thanks were also extended to Dr. Ashwani Jojra, Area Director and Founder President, Special Olympics Bharat J&K, whose continued efforts and full sponsorship made participation possible for the athletes of the region. |
