5/2/2009 11:21:59 PM
Early Times report
Jammu, May 2: The J&K Milchar Front’s state president S.N. Saproo and gen. secretary K.K. Rao have expressed grave concern over the deletion of names of genuine voters from the electoral rolls and strongly condemned the police lathi charge on peaceful demonstrators on Kashmiri Pandits at Muthi, who were protesting for their democratic right.
As per press release they have urged the government to fulfill the demands of the displaced Pandits by replacing the M Forms by Form 12C so that the migrants will be able to cast their vote without any hesitation and problems and order a probe in deletion of names of Kashmiri Pandits from electoral rolls. They also urged the election commissioner of India to take action against those officials who are responsible for deleting the name of Kashmiri voters from electoral rolls.
