Akhnoor, Aug 2: A special program was organized by the Agriculture Department in Lower Sungal B Panchayat of Akhnoor to mark the release of the 20th installment to the farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme. A large number of farmers were present in the program and listened to the address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on virtual mode.
Akhnoor MLA Mohan Lal was the chief guest at the program. On this occasion, Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer (SDAO) Rajan Sharma, Agriculture Extension Officer (AEO) Yogesh Mehta, former Sarpanch Shamsher Singh, former Sarpanch Rampal Sharma, BJP Mandal President Shamsher Das, Jagdish Singh, Gullu Ram, Ganesh Sharma and many other dignitaries were present.
Officials of the Agriculture Department interacted with the farmers and gave information about various government agriculture projects including PM Kisan Yojana. |
