| Traffic Police spread traffic awareness among School Children at Bari Brahmana | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, Aug 2: Rural Traffic Police organized a traffic awareness campaign in JK Public School at Palli morh area of Bari Brahmana and spread traffic awareness among School Students.
Under the direction of Senior officials, DTI Bari Brahmana Kartar Nath along with the team organized a traffic awareness program at JK Public School Pali morh area of Bari Brahmana. A large number of School students and teaching staff of the school were also present during the program. DTI Bari Brahmana gave a detailed lecture to the students regarding traffic awareness. He advised the students to follow the safety norms and negligent Driving particularly on the national highway. He advised the students to make maximum use of public transport and stay away from Drugs.
He further apprised the students that 1.2 million people die in road accidents every year worldwide. In India one accident takes place every minute and one person dies in a road accident every four minutes. He appealed to the minor students to not drive the vehicle without a licence. |
