| Two OGWs apprehended in Thanamandi | | | JAMMU SEPT-23 Two Over Ground Workers, believed to be the couriers for terrorists, were apprehended at Pangai near Thanamandi ,a civilian on the suspicion of being a terrorist was nabbed at Tipri while the Security forces busted two hide outs at Lam and DKG and recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition. According to official sources, Security Forces today apprehended two OGW, believed to be working for the terrorist groups, at Pangai in Thanamandi area .The OGWs have been identified as 18 year Mushtaq Ahmed son of Mohammed Aktar and 19 year Mohammed Liqauat son of Gulabdin both residents of Pangai. They were handed over to Police for further interrogation and FIR lodged against them. The reports said that based on own source, a joint column of Security Forces launched a search operation at wee hours today at a Nalah, two KM North-East of Lam and recovered a cache from a natural cavity in thick under growth and recovered one AK 47 rifle along with a magazine. In another search operation at Asouni Top 5 km West of Dera Ki Gali the Security Forces busted a man made hide out hidden under the boulders and recovered two AK 47 rifles, three AK magazines, 68 AK ammunition rounds and two Chinese hand grenades. In the meantime, J&K Police apprehended Mohammed Isreal son of Baru Gujjar resident of Tapri ,Thatri on suspicion of being a terrorist . Investigation is in progress when the reports last came in, the sources added. |
