Early Times Report HIRANAGAR, Aug 3: Recognizing the growing stress levels among students and young professionals, Red Ribbon Club of Govt. GLDM Degree College, Hiranagar organized a seminar/ awareness program titled "Mental Well-Being: Navigating Stress from Classroom to Workplace". The initiative aimed to address mental health challenges across academic and professional settings while promoting practical strategies for emotional resilience. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students Through panel discussions, interactive workshops, and counselling sessions, the program explored the transition-related anxieties students face as they step into the workplace and the mental toll of managing high expectations in competitive environments. Speaking at the event, Dr. Neha Sharma, Medical Officer at Govt. Hospital, Hiranagar, emphasized, "Stress is not limited to boardrooms or classrooms. It follows us through every transition in life. Equipping individuals with the tools to manage stress early on is key to ensuring mental well-being and sustained productivity." The program also featured real-life testimonials from students and young professionals who have successfully navigated mental health struggles, reinforcing the message that seeking support is a strength, not a weakness. Dr. Pragya Khanna, Principal of the College, highlighted, "Mental health awareness must be deeply integrated into our education system and workplace culture. Preparing youth to handle transitions with confidence and care is our collective responsibility."
