MAJALTA, Aug 4: In a vibrant celebration of Independence Day 2025, Government Degree College Majalta organized an essay writing competition centered on the theme "Role of Education in Promoting Peace and National Unity." The event, held under the esteemed guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shalini Sharma, was coordinated by Prof. Anuradha Choudhary and Dr. Dalip Kumar.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who showcased their insights and eloquence on the pivotal role of education in fostering peace and unity across the nation. A distinguished panel of jury members, comprising Dr. Chander Mohan, Prof. Kamal Jeet, and Prof. Naresh Kumar, meticulously evaluated the essays. Shagun Rajput of Semestsr Vth secured first position, delivering an outstanding essay that resonated with the theme. Archana Sharma and Kajal Devi both of Semester 3rd followed closely, earning the second and third positions, respectively, for their thought-provoking contributions.
