JAMMU, Aug 4: In a vibrant celebration of Raksha Bandhan, the Volunteers of Government Degree College (GDC) Sidhra, in collaboration with the Vidyanjali Cell of the University of Jammu, organized a series of cultural and wellness activities at Govt. High School Chak Largan, Bajalta Jammu aimed at fostering community spirit and holistic well-being. The program was organised under the able guidance of Dr. Renu Nanda, Dean Faculty of Education and Convener Vidyanjali Cell, University of Jammu and Worthy Principal of the college Prof. Seema Mir. The event featured a colorful Rangoli competition, where students showcased their artistic talents by creating intricate designs symbolizing the festive spirit. Additionally, a Poster Making activity allowed participants to express their creativity and convey messages of unity and harmony associated with Raksha Bandhan. The event concluded with a Yoga session to promote physical and mental health, emphasizing the importance of wellness in daily life.
