Jammu, Aug 4: The three-days’ Tritiya Sopan Scout Training Camp held from 2nd to 4th August 2025 at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya, Nagrota, concluded successfully. This camp served as a unique opportunity for knowledge enhancement and skill development for all participants. The objective of the camp was to provide orientation, conduct Pratham Sopan, Dwitiya Sopan, and Tritiya Sopan tests, and train scouts accordingly. On 2nd August, scouts presented science-based models, various moral training activities, and cultural performances promoting unity and values. On 3rd August, several practical activities were held including first aid, estimation test, camp craft, knots, lashings, hiking, and patrol formations, conducted by experienced trainers under the guidance of the camp leader. The entire day was filled with excitement and discipline. The campfire was the highlight of the day, where students performed enthusiastically and showcased team spirit. The Principal of the host school Mr. Ram Kishan Dahiya inaugurated the campfire and praised the creativity and discipline of the scouts. On the same day, Scout reports were presented by the troop leaders. LOC Mr. Kishore Kumar the Chief Guest Mr Ram Kishan Dahiya addressed the students and emphasized the importance of scouting in nurturing responsible citizens. On 4th August, the final day began with all-faith prayer, followed by flag hoisting, log book inspection and a grand closing ceremony. An open session was conducted to hear feedback from participants. At the end of the event, certificates were distributed by Mr. Kishore Kumar and other dignitaries. This well-executed event was made possible due to the efforts of the organizing committee, exam panel, and supporting staff. The camp not only enhanced the participants’ knowledge but also polished their practical life skills. The participants left with enriched experiences, discipline, and memories of teamwork. With initiatives like this, PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota continues to establish benchmarks in education, excellence, and holistic development of students. |
