| KU, NASSCOM Talent Assessment Initiative evokes warm response | | Enrollment date extended till May 10 | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, May 3- The Talent Assessment Initiative launched jointly by the University of Kashmir and National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) has evoked overwhelming response from the varsity students. More than 600 students have enrolled themselves for the initiative which helps the students to build successful careers in various areas of study. In view of the ongoing parliamentary elections, the varsity has extended the date of registration for the programme up to May 10, 2009. The talent assessment shall be done from May 18 to May 27. The Initiative called Global Talent Track shall assess students on various skills, identify their strength areas. The students shall have to undergo the Talent Assessment Test in categories like Engineering, Computer, Information Technology, Arts, Social Sciences, Science, Commerce and Business Administration. Based on assessments, students will be provided with developmental feedback in terms of career options and possible developmental tools to sharpen their skills and boost up confidence.
