Conduct of medical check-up for orphaned children at Mendhar, Poonch | | | Early Times Report POONCH, Aug 5: A medical check-up camp was held today at Prisha Child Care Institute in Mendhar for orphaned children. The initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare services and raise awareness about hygiene and general well-being among the children residing at the orphanage. A dedicated team of Army medical officers conducted detailed health screenings, distributed basic medicines and offered consultations on nutrition, personal hygiene and preventive healthcare. A total of 26 children benefited from the event. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the children and staff of the orphanage, who expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army for the timely and compassionate support. Special attention was given to children with medical concerns and necessary referrals were made for further care where required.
