Dharampur, Aug 7: Pinegrove School, Dharampur, celebrated Grandparents’ Day on 6th August 2025, an occasion that turned into a heartwarming celebration of love and legacy. The event brought two generations together in a day filled with joy, laughter and lasting memories. The junior most and senior most Grovians together, in a unique ensemble, paid a tribute to the special bond shared with grandparents, celebrating the theme. The Nectar of Blessings. The festivities began with a lively performance by the School’s Brass Band, and a video that captured the heartwarming affection between grandparents and grandchildren. The Welcome Speech beautifully expressed this enduring relationship, while a soul-stirring orchestral rendition of ‘Raag Megh’ and a dynamic Band filler preceded the Junior Dance Medley overflowing with energy and charm. Fun games including ‘Antara-Mukhra’, ‘Singers’ and ‘Advertisements’ brought nostalgia and smiles, reviving memories of musical classics. The English play ‘The Canterville Ghost’ offered a compelling performance. It explored themes of cultural contrast, the supernatural versus the modern and the strength of love and sacrifice. Delivering a powerful rendition of Believer, was the Western Music Choir, which was followed by a vibrant and exhilarating Rajasthani Dance. |
