| SKUAST-Jammu celebrates Nash Mukht Bharat Abhiyaan Walkathon- 2025 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 7: Under the able guidance of Prof. B. N. Tripathi, Vice- Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu, Walkathon was organized at Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry at R. S. Pura on August 7, 2025. The Programme was organized under the banner of "Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyaan". The programmed was organized to sensitize the students and staff of Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry and Faculty of Dairy Technology about the importance of good health. The programme was graced by Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry - Dr Rajesh Katoch, Dean of Faculty of Dairy Technology - Dr. Jaswinder Soodan, Dean of Student Welfare - Dr. Sudhakar Dwivedi,Coordinator- Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)-Dr. P. K. Rai and Coordinator of the Abhiyaan Programme of FVSc&AH- Dr. Dibyendu Chakraborty. This event marks a significant step by NSS wing of Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry and Faculty of Dairy Technology of SKUAST-Jammu in promoting a healthy, drug-free environment and reinforcing its commitment to social responsibility through the active participation of its youth. The programme was attended by Head of the Divisions, teaching staffs, non-teaching staffs and students of the both the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry and Faculty of Dairy Technology of SKUAST-Jammu. The ceremony concluded with pledge taking ceremony of Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyaan against drug abuse which was given by Professor Rajesh Katoch, Dean, FVSc & AH.
