Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 7: Today, MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa conducted a comprehensive tour of the Belicharana area, accompanied by officials from various departments, including the Public Works Department (PWD). Several local dignitaries joined the visit, including Ritika (Mandal President), Bharat Bhushan, Suraj Raina, Sushila Sharma, Avtar Singh, Rakesh Sharma, Rishu Langeh, Anil, and Inderjeet Singh. During the tour, residents raised multiple civic concerns, particularly related to roads, drains, lanes, water supply, and electricity. The primary demand from the people of Upper Belicharana was the construction of a circular road that would connect the entire locality, improving internal connectivity and easing daily commute. Locals stressed the urgent need for this road to ensure better infrastructure and access for all residents. MLA Randhawa gave a patient hearing and assured the public that the matter will be taken up with the concerned departments on priority. He directed the officials to carry out a feasibility study and prepare a proposal for the circular road project. The MLA also visited Rajouri-Poonch Colony of Belicharana, where residents shared similar concerns regarding poor road infrastructure and irregular water and electricity supply.
