| Notification issued for Hazratbal bye-election | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, May 4: The Election Commission of India Monday issued notification for bye-elections to Hazratbal Assembly constituency.
According to the notification, the last date for filing nomination papers has been fixed as May 11 while as scrutiny of nominations will be done the next day. May 14 has been fixed as last day for withdrawal of candidatures.
Polling will be held in the said constituency on May 30 between 7 a. m. and 5 pm.
Hazratbal Assembly constituency has a total electorate of 86,668 including 45,498 male and 41,170 female electors. As many as 119 polling stations will be set up for the bye-poll to facilitate voters on polling day.
