RN Tagore Hr Sec School holds Grand Investiture Ceremony

JAMMU, Aug 8: R.N. Tagore Higher Secondary School, Sector 8, Nanak Nagar, Jammu, organized a grand Investiture Ceremony to formally induct the new student council for the academic session 2025-26. The event was marked by pride, discipline, and a celebration of leadership and responsibility.
The ceremony was graced by Sunil Singh Jasrotia, SDPO City South Jammu, who attended as the Chief Guest, Rajesh Singh Jamwal, Assistant Secretary, JKBOSE and Naveen Gupta, SO, JKBOSE and S. Harinder Pal Singh as the Special Guests. Dignitaries were warmly received by Principal Dr. Hitesh Mahajan, staff, and students.
In his address, Jasrotia praised the efforts of the school in nurturing young minds and emphasized the importance of developing leadership and civic responsibility in students. Jamwal encouraged the council members to be role models for their peers and uphold the values of honesty, commitment, and teamwork.
The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by Floral tribute to Founder Memebers of the school Late Mulkh Raj Gupta and Late Vishno Devi. This was followed by soulful rendition of the school prayer and welcome address. The stage then came alive as sashes and badges were conferred upon the newly elected leaders.

Both students took their oaths with pride, vowing to uphold the school's values and set a strong example for others.

The event concluded with the oath-taking ceremony, where the student leaders promised to perform their duties with sincerity, fairness, and dedication. The national anthem echoed across the campus, instilling pride and unity. The Investiture Ceremony was a reminder that the future belongs to those who are ready to take charge - and R.N. Tagore Hr. Sec. School continues to build that future with purpose and passion.
