JAMMU, Aug 8: Rajiv Gandhi College of Nursing recently hosted a farewell party for the outgoing batches of B.Sc. (N), Post Basic (N), and General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) students. The event was graced by Mr. M.S. Katoch, Chairman of RGCN, as the chief guest, accompanied by Mrs. Anjana Bavouria, Director of RGCN, and faculty members.The ceremony began with a welcome address delivered by Syeeda War, a student of B.sc Nursing 4th year, followed by a bouquet presentation to the esteemed guests. The event's inauguration continued with a lamp lightning ceremony performed by Mr. M.S. Katoch, Mrs. Anjana Bavouria, and the faculty members.The students showcased their talents through various performances, including a ramp walk by B.Sc. (N), Post basic (N), and GNM students, a Kashmiri dance, and a Bollywood dance. A talent display and games round were organized for the outgoing students to select Mr. and Ms. Farewell.The winners of the MR. and MS. Farewell titles were:B.Sc. (N) Mr. Sonu Purwal (MR. Farewell) and Ms. Suhani Sharma (MS. Farewell), Post basic (N) Mr. Owais Butt (MR. Farewell), Ms. Poonam (MS. Farewell), GNM Ms. K.S. Mona (MS. Farewell).The event also featured a cake-cutting ceremony with the farewell faces, a farewell video showcasing the outgoing students, and a valedictory address by Mr. M.S. Katoch. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Samiya B.Sc.nursing 4th year (outgoing batch). |
