| IDPS Ghoumanhasan delegation meets President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan | | |  Early Times Report
New Delhi, Aug 9: It is a moment of immense pride for the entire IDPS community as the tradition of excellence continues. This year from Jammu it was IDPS Ghoumanhasan that upheld this legacy, earning the golden opportunity to meet Smt. Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on 9th August 2025.
The delegation comprised four exceptional students — Rushaan Ahmed Mir Grade 7, Priyanshi Saini Grade 8, Aradhya Parihar Grade 8 , and Stavya Mehta Grade 5— accompanied by the Director of the School, Ms. Vandana Sharma, and the Managing Director, Ms. Sia Singh.
This memorable interaction offered the students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the grandeur of the nation’s highest office and draw inspiration from the President’s words and presence.
The Director of IDPS Ghoumanhasan, Ms. Vandana Sharma, called it “a deeply enriching experience to see our students interact with the Hon’ble President and carry themselves with such dignity.” The Managing Director, Ms. Sia Singh, expressed that “witnessing our students in this moment of glory was a proud and emotional experience that will be etched in our school’s history.”
The Principal, Ms. Sahrish Ismaily, said, “This meeting with the Hon’ble President is not just an honour for our students, but an inspiration for the entire IDPS community to dream big, uphold values, and strive for excellence in every endeavour.”
Vice Principal, Ms. Mubeen Butt, congratulated the students and expressed gratitude to the parents and staff for their support in achieving this milestone.
