| Tiranga rally organized by traffic sub division south Jammu | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 11: As part of the ongoing “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Traffic Sub Division South Jammu, in collaboration with Government Middle School, Channi Himmat, organized a vibrant and patriotic Tiranga Rally today. The rally saw the enthusiastic participation of around 150 school students, teachers, and traffic police personnel, who came together to celebrate the spirit of nationalism and promote road safety awareness.
The rally was flagged off from the premises of GMS Channi Himmat by Shri Faisal Rishu, JKPS, Dy. SP Traffic City South Jammu while Ms. Neeru Rajput, IC GMS Channi Himmat Jammu, led the participants from the school along with the staff members. As the rally proceeded through the main market areas in Channi Himmat, students carried the National Flag and raised spirited slogans, filling the air with patriotism and fervor.
Following the rally, a short awareness session on road safety was conducted within the school premises where students were advised on the importance of crossing roads only at zebra crossings, walking on footpaths, wearing helmets while cycling or riding, and obeying traffic lights and signs.
The students were also given a lecture on the spirit of nationalism, highlighting the importance of unity, integrity, and patriotism as the nation prepares to celebrate its 79th Independence Day.
The event concluded with the distribution of refreshments to the participants, who were visibly thrilled and motivated by the experience. |
