| Rather says PDP creating false notices | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, May 04- Cautioning people about nefarious designs of PDP against the National Conference and its leadership to mislead people, the Finance Minister, Abdul Rahim Rather Monday said that National Conference’s history bears the testimony of the sacrifices, this party has made in the interest of people of Jammu and Kashmir since 1931. Addressing election rallies at Watkulo, Choudhary Gund, Bichru and Loolipora in Charar-i-Sharief Constituency, Rather said that hallow slogan raising and unabashed lie speaking has become the tradition of PDP and its leadership to mislead people and create confusion on important national issues. “They do this as have been advised by BJP whose extended arm this party is actually”, he asserted. Rather said National Conference is committed to the peace and development of Jammu and Kashmir and resolution of all issues in an amicable atmosphere. “Our endeavor will be to create conducive atmosphere for resumption of talks between the Union Government and the separatists. The initiative for the same would be taken soon the new Government takes over at the Centre”, he said and added that since the good Indo-Pak relations were imperative for lasting peace in the sub-continent especially in Jammu and Kashmir as such National Conference would also play its important role in restoring the composite dialogue between India and Pakistan.
