Result of e-auction to be held in Jammu Division declared | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 12: Indian Railways is using e-auction system for the sale of its goods and services, which is a transparent and efficient process. This system is beneficial not only for the railways but also for the bidders. Taking forward this e-auction process, under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager of Jammu Division of Northern Railway, Mr. Vivek Kumar and under the leadership of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mr. Uchit Singhal, the result of the auction to be held on 04,07 and 11 August was declared. In which first of all, pay and use toilet block was allotted at Pathankot Cantt Railway Station of Jammu Division, in which there is a contract of total amount of 766669 for the first year, and there is a contract of amount of 2300007 for the next three years. Under this, Dual Display Infotainment System (DDIS) has been installed in the entire Jammu division. This is a system that displays ticket information and entertainment/science content in real time using dual LCD monitors at ticket reservation counters. Its allocation is for a total amount of 900990 for the first year which is for the next 5 years at a total contracted amount of 5315841. Continuing with this e-auction result, the result of SLR of trains was also declared. SLR of train number 12588 was allotted for 105 trips for a total amount of 1519379 for 2 years. SLR of train number 16032 was allotted for 313 trips for a total amount of 11732805 for 2 years. SLR for train number 12476 was allotted for 105 trips for a total amount of Rs. 2244040 for 2 years. SLR for train number 12478 was allotted for 105 trips for a total amount of Rs. 2238979 for 2 years. SLR for train number 14692 was allotted for 105 trips for a total amount of Rs. 2136645 for 2 years. This auction will increase the railway revenue as well as the facilities provided to the passengers and will provide better employment opportunities and the traders will be inclined towards the railways, as a result of which the economy of the state will also benefit somewhere. Regarding the e-auction to be held in Jammu Division, the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of the Division, Shri Uchit Singhal, said that 'This system is a non-revenue income system operated by the Commercial Department in Indian Railways, which includes commercial promotion, parking, pay and use parcel leasing, ATM etc.' Whose allocation is done successfully through e-auction in IREPS website. |
