Students join Tiranga Rallies, emphasise traffic safety | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 12: On the occasion of India's Independence, two Tiranga Rallies were organised by Traffic Police City Jammu one each at Scientia International School, Bantalab and Sun Shine School, Nagrota. The events were spearheaded by DySP Traffic City North, Ms. Anubhuti, JKPS and DySP Traffic Rural, Sh. Daljit Singh. Approximately 300 students participated in both the rallies chanting nationalistic slogans and demonstrating a strong sense of national pride. The rallies were part of the "Har Ghar Tiranga" initiative, a nationwide campaign encouraging citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes to celebrate the country's independence. Participants were also reminded of their civic responsibilities, particularly the importance of adhering to traffic regulations. The student participants were led by the Principal Smt. Bharti Bhardawaj of Scientia International School and Principal Mr (Retd. Lt. Col.) Adarsh Sharma from Sun Shine School. The events concluded with the distribution of refreshments to all participants.
