| Dr. Chishti offered Prof Emeritus by UGC | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 4- Dr M Z Chisti of the Department of Zoology University of Kashmir and nationally and internationally known scholar has been offered the most prestigious Emeritus Professorship/fellowship of the UGC. A letter in this regard has been received by the University from the Secretary UGC. Prof. Chishti has world wide recognition in the field of Phraseology and has contributed more than 250 research papers in National and International reputed journals and has guided about 30 Ph. D and 25 M. Phil candidates. He is a recipient of many national honors and awards. Prof Chishti is member Academic council of Lucknow University, Rohelkhand University, Allahabad University, Vishvabharati Shantiniketan, SKUAST-K, and BGSBU. He is member advisory committees of UGC and Department of Science & Technology, Government of India and Principal Investigator of major research projects sanctioned by ICAR, UGC and DST, Govt. of India. Vice Chancellor of University of Kashmir, Prof. (DR.) Riyaz Punjabi and Registrar, Prof. Syed Fayyaz Ahmed have congratulated Prof. Chishti and said that it is a great honor to the University of Kashmir.
