JAMMU, Aug 13: In a warm and impressive ceremony held at his office, the Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, Rakesh Minhas IAS, was felicitated as President of J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides, district Jammu by the National Commissioner HQs for SP, Bharat Scouts & Guides, Wg Cdr M.M. Joshi, R P Kotwal STC, K L Sharma ALT(Accounts Officer), Manish Joshi (Basic Commissioner), Madan lal (State Trainer) along with other senior officials of the organization.
The felicitation marked recognition of Minhas's continued support and encouragement towards the Scouting and Guiding movement in the district Kathua. Speaking on the occasion, Wg Cdr M.M. Joshi lauded the Deputy Commissioner's dedication to youth empowerment and community development, noting that his leadership has significantly contributed to the growth and outreach of the Bharat Scouts & Guides in the district Jammu.
Minhas expressed his gratitude for the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to extending all possible support for activities that nurture the values of discipline, service, and leadership among young people.
The ceremony was attended by senior functionaries of the Bharat Scouts & Guides, district-level representatives, and staff from the Deputy Commissioner's office, making it a memorable moment of mutual respect and collaboration.
