| KPs demand white paper on their exodus from Kashmir | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 5- Two days after Panun Kashmir convenor Dr Agnishekhar had demanded setting up of fast track courts or constitution of Special Investigating Team, another prominent Kashmir leader of All State Kashmir Pandit Conference (ASKPC) Amarnath Vaishnavi on Tuesday appealed to the union government to issue a white paper on exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir valley. Addressing a press conference here today the Kashmir Pandit leader flanked by several senior members also trained his guns on former chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah and accused him of indulging in false propaganda by way of holding former Governor Jagmohan responsible for the migration of Kashmir Pandits. Raising pitch of his voice in front of media persons, the Kashmiri Pandit leader said in the recent days Dr Farooq Abdullah has suddenly started blaming former Governor Jagmohan for the migration of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir valley without narrating his own role. Amarnath Vaishnavi said, "I want to ask Dr Abdullah who was the chief minister of the state at that time and what was his role? Who allowed hundreds of youth to cross over from Kashmir and who brought guns in Kashmir valley should be known to all. Lambasting Dr Abdullha's claims Vaishnavi said in order to bring out truth in public domain we are demanding white paper from the union government to settle the debate and fix responsibility of all those who played key role behind exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from their homeland. He said even during round table conference representatives of Kashmiri Pandits raised the issue but successive heads of the state government who ruled the state one after the other remained mute spectators.
