| Soz, Chavan appeal people to vote for Dr.Farooq | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, May 5- President J&K PCC and Union Minister for Water Resources Prof. Saifuddin Soz and General Secretary AICC (MOS) PMO Prithviraj Chavan mad a very passionate appeal to the people in a very largely attended public meeting at Beerwah (Budgam) to vote for National Conference candidate Dr. Farooq Abdullah.
While addressing the gathering Prof. Soz explained to the people that victory of National Conference simultaneously meant the victory for Indian National Congress.
He assured the people that coalition Government will serve this backward district of the state to the best of its ability.
Speaking on the occasion Prithviraj Chavan told the people that Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh were determined to usher in a period of spectacular progress in the J&K state.
Senior Congress leaders Sarfaraz Ahmad Khan and Nazir Ahmad Khan addressed the public meeting also.
Those present in the public meeting included Sham Lal Sharma, Minister for Health and Medical Education, Bashir Ahmad Magrey, MLC, Gulam Nabi Monga, Vice President PCC and senior NC leader Gulam Qadir Joo.
