| DDC reviews dev works in Nowshera, Sunderbani | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, May 05-With a view to review the status of various ongoing development activities the District Development Commissioner, Rajouri S. Jaipal Singh conducted one-day hectic tour of Nowshera and Sunderbani blocks of Rajouri
At Siot DDC took stock of renovation work of irrigation khuls being repaired at a cost of Rs, 5.25 lakh and improvement of water supply scheme being upgraded at Rs. 2.50 lakh. He also visited the site of PHC building Siot where additional accommodation is under construction at a cost of Rs. 80 lakh. The building comprise two wards one each for male and female, X-ray room, Dental section, Baby room.
He also took stock of power augmentation measures being taken by the Power Development Department. Executive Engineer, PDD apprised that one 63 KVA and one 250 KVA transformers have been installed in Sunderbani Block at a cost of Rs. 65.25 lakh.
The DDC was accompanied by SDM, Nowshera Harvinder Kour, Chief Planning Officer, Manoj Kapoor, SE PHE, J. R. Dogra, Ex. Engineer PDD Vinod Khajuria, Assistant Commissioner Development, Executive engineers from Irrigation, PHE, PMGSY and R&B (PWD).
