Jagti/Nagrota, Aug 22: A solemn Shradhanjali was today held at Shiv Parvati Panch Mandir, Jagti Nagrota in memory of Late Shadi Lal Pandita, who left for his heavenly abode on this very day.
Members of the community, social activists, and local residents gathered in large numbers to pay homage to the departed soul. Floral tributes and prayers were offered, recalling his tireless efforts and unwavering dedication towards the welfare of the displaced Kashmiri Pandit community.
Speakers on the occasion highlighted that Late Shadi Lal Pandita was a firebrand voice who always stood tall in raising the issues of the exiled community. His contribution towards social causes, community upliftment, and his relentless struggle for justice will always be remembered with respect and gratitude.
The gathering resolved to carry forward his mission and uphold the values for which he lived and worked. |
