| Series of extension lectures on education conclude | | | Early Times report
Jammu, May 5: The on going series of extension lectures in Dogra College of Education concluded here today with the lecture delivered by Dr. N.R. Sharma, an eminent Educationist and former Head of the Department of Education, University of Jammu. The topic of the lecture was “Lesson Planning”.
During the course of the interactive lecture Dr. Sharma explained the different approaches to lesson planning at B.Ed. level for classroom teaching. He stressed upon the use of effective planning of the lesson before delivering it to the students in order to achieve the desired objectives of teaching. He emphasized that teachers should built a positive rapport with their students in order to make teaching-learning process more effective. Earlier Dr. (Mrs.) Kiran Luthra Principal, Dogra College of Education in her welcome address emphasized the importance of the day’s topic and added that teaching can always be fruitful when it is polished with careful and intelligent planning.
Samar Dev Singh Charak secretary, Dogra Educational Trust, Prof. B.D. Damral director, Dogra College of Education were also present on the occasion, while vote of thanks was moved by Sumer Singh.
