| IT deptt to observe ‘grievance redressal fortnight’ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 5: The Income Tax Department will observe “Grievance redressal Fortnight” with effect from 15th May to 31 May. As per press release assesses having any grievances relating to non-issuance of refunds for assessment year 2004-05 to assessment year 2007-08, pending rectifications, pending appeal effects and any other matter may file their requests with their respective assessing officers with documentary evidence to settle their grievances.
In case they had any difficulty in getting their legitimate issues settled, they may approach the additional commissioner of income tax of concerned range, the release added.
