Jammu, Aug 24: On 24 August 2025, closing ceremony of the Inter Frontier Judo, Wushu and Taekwondo Competition 2025–26 was held at Satish Auditorium, BSF Jammu. Shri Shashank Anand, IPS, IG BSF Jammu
Graced the event as the Chief Guest. Frontier BSF Jammu organised this event from 21 August to 24 August 2025, wherein 11 teams from various Frontiers of Border Security Force participated, and three games, Judo, Wushu, and Taekwondo, were organised.
In the closing ceremony, IG BSF Jammu said that sports help to maintain a balance between good physical and mental health.
Jammu Frontier emerged as the indisputable champion of the Inter-Frontier Judo, Wushu and Taekwondo Competition 2025–26 and clinched the top spot in all three games: Judo, Wushu and Taekwondo. Their all-around dominance not only highlights exceptional athletic prowess but also reinforces the spirit of excellence and teamwork within the BSF Jammu, earning well-deserved accolades from the leadership.
IG BSF Jammu Shashank Anand, IPS, awarded trophies & Medals to the winners and also praised their contribution in sports & games. He emphasised that winning is not the only option, but participation is also a big achievement, and improvement is bound to come. He thanked everyone for displaying true sportsmanship and congratulated all winners & participants. |
