Vijaypur, Aug 24: To commemorate the Fifth Anniversary of Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan, Government Degree College Vijaypur (Samba) and Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan Committee of the college organised plantation drive. The event was conducted under the able supervision of Dr. Ashu Vashisht, the Principal of GDC, Vijaypur. The event commenced with the welcome address by Dr. Ashu Vaishisht, Principal of the college where she raised awareness among the students regarding the importance of planting trees in the preservation of environment and ecosystem of our country.
Talking on this occasion , she further added that plantation drives are a powerful step towards a greener, healthier, and sustainable future.
On this occasion a large number of plants were planted by the Principal, faculty members, and the students of the college.
The whole programme was cordinated by Prof. Anita Jamwal, Prof. Mamta Gupta, Prof. Ritu Bhagat, Dr. Arti Sharma, Dr. Manoj Heer, and Prof. Meetu Sharma. |
