| Youth National Basketball championship | | Eight students of KC Public School to represent J&K | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 6: Eight students of K.C. Public School have been selected by J&K Basketball Association to represent J&K state in 26th Youth National basketball championship to be held at Mumbai from 9th to 16th may. The championship is organised by Maharastra basketball association under the banner of basketball federation of India.
Members of girls team are Sumedha Choudhary, Sakshi Pandita and Arushi Sharma of Class 8th. The boy team are Mohit Singh, Karan Jeet Singh, Abishek Verma and Paramveer Singh of Class 10th, Savan Nagpal of Class 12th.
A special assembly was conducted in the school to felicitate the students who have made school proud in which principal of the school, Jorawar Singh appreciated the efforts of students and the school basketball coach for developing a strong basketball culture in the school.
