| Reebok showroom comes up at Katra | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 6- Former minister and MLA Tangmarg, Ghulam Hassan Mir in presence of Member Legislative Council (MLC) Ravinder Sharma today inaugurated exclusive showroom of Reebok footwear and apparel at Katra. The showroom owned by Zaffar Khan is a Factory price shop set up at Katra.
Mir after inaugurating the showroom went round the store and appreciated the products displayed for sale. He said that pilgrims as well as people of Katra got an exclusive showroom of footwear and apparel. He said the showroom is an example of self employment in the state and hoped that more youth would switch towards this kind of business and become good entrepreneurs.
Wishing success to the owners, he hoped that the store will cater to all kinds of buyers and also add to the aesthetic appearance of main bazaar where many exclusive showrooms are coming up in a big way. Speaking on the occasion, MLC Ravinder Sharma lauded the efforts of Zaffar Khan and said that though little yet he has encouraged employment in Katra. These kind of stores, he said while add to the glory of markets they also add to the economy of state.
He hoped such store in Katra will serve to varied sections of people and also encourage more entrepreneurs and business houses to set up their offices and franchisees in the state. Former Mayor, JMC Narinder Singh Raju, Proprietor Subash Hotels, Mr Subash Gupta, Kuldeep Wahi, Siddarth, Ajay Mahajan besides leading personalities of Katra and Jammu graced the occasion.
Giving details of the products the store houses, Zaffar said,” this is a factory price outlet and beginning from Indian Premier League (IPL) merchandise, sports wear, sports shoes, jogging shoes, trek suits, T-shitrs, jeans, casual wear, caps, belts, socks, lowers, towels, wrist bands and other accessories both for men and women are available in the store. He said that this is for the first time that Reebok has ventured into Katra market.
In his message, Sandeep from Reebok India said that seeing the potential of sports wear and apparel in Katra the company decided to set up franchisee in holy town. He hoped that the store will do good business and get people’s support.
