ADGP Armed J&K inaugurates Creche facility at Headuarters

SRINAGAR, Aug 30: Anand Jain, IPS, ADGP Armed J&K, inaugurated Creche at the Headquarters, 2nd Women Battalion, Armed Police Complex, Zewan, Srinagar today.
2. The initiative has been conceptualized to make the battalion campus more child-friendly, with a special focus on supporting young mothers in uniform. It is designed to provide a safe, engaging environment for children while enabling mothers to perform their duties with peace of mind.
3. The creche is state-of-the-art kindergarten facility equipped with modern amenities for the holistic development of children.
4. The Key features of the facility includes,
*Swimming pool for recreation and water-familiarization activities.
*Slides and outdoor play zones for physical development.
*Spacious and vibrant classrooms for early education.
*Audio-visual tools for interactive learning.
*Indoor and outdoor games fostering creativity, teamwork, and social interaction.
5. While speaking on the occasion, Sh. Jain appreciated the initiative and highlighted its significance in promoting work-life balance for women officers. He emphasized that such facilities reflect the humane and progressive outlook of J&K Police towards the welfare of its personnel and their families.
6. The creche facility stands as a symbol of care, inclusivity, and empowerment-integrating family welfare with professional responsibilities. It is envisioned to become a model facility that blends learning with play while strengthening the confidence of women officers in service.
