Pathankot, Aug 30: Partap World School, Pathankot, is all set to host the prestigious CBSE Cluster XVIII Athletic Meet 2025 from 3rd September to 5th September 2025. This grand sporting event will witness the participation of more than 2000 athletes from approximately 200 schools across Punjab and J&K, making it one of the biggest athletic meets in the region. Over the course of three days, young athletes will compete in more than 20 events across U-14, U-17, and U-19 categories. The competitions include some of the most exciting and challenging track and field events such as: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m, 4x100m Relay, 4x400m Relay, Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus Throw, and Javelin Throw. Such events are of immense importance as they not only bring together the best talent of the region but also give students an opportunity to gain valuable exposure, confidence, and competitive spirit. Participation in cluster-level athletics helps students learn the essence of discipline, time management, perseverance, and resilience, while also preparing them for state, national, and even international sporting arenas.
