| Two spying suspected nabbed | | | Early Times report Jammu, May 6- Jammu and Kashmir police Wednesday produced two suspected operatives of Pakistan based intelligence agency in the local court seeking eight days remand. The suspects have been identified as 23 year old Vikas Sharma, resident of Nagrota and 45- year old Javed Malik of Darhal, Rajouri. Both were picked by the police from Jammu and were produced in the court to carry out detailed investigations. A senior state police officer demanding anonymity confirmed, " the duo were allegedly spying for Pakistan based Intelligence agency and were using cyber cafes for staying in touch and passing on the strategic information related to movement of troop deployment to their mentors sitting across the border. The duo, in posession of certain incriminating documents, was using cyber cafes to establish contact with their mentors, the police officer said. Preliminary interrogations have also revealed that Javed Malik, an ex-serviceman had visited Pakistan on valid passport in 2006 and was roped in by an intelligence agency to gather strategic information. The duo also received a hefty amount of Rs 50,000 in lieu of passing information from across the border
