Mandi Gobindgarh, Sept 2: Desh Bhagat University School of Law, in partnership with the Institute’s Innovation Council (IIC), held a Training Program on “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Outreach by Involving ATLs/SICs in Schools” at Government Elementary School, Kanjhri, District Fatehgarh Sahib.
The initiative aimed to raise awareness among young students about the importance of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking. The outreach program highlighted the key roles of Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) and School Innovation Councils (SICs) in promoting problem-solving, design thinking, and leadership in schools.
Interactive sessions were led by Dr. Arti and Dr. Prabhjot Kaur, Assistant Professors at the University School of Law and active members of the IIC. The presenters engaged students through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and open discussions, emphasizing how innovation is relevant in everyday life and how entrepreneurship can be a viable career path.
The sessions received an enthusiastic response from the students, who participated actively and showed a strong interest in exploring their creative abilities.
Mr. Narinder Singh, an ETT at Government Elementary School, Kanjhri, thanked the university team for their efforts in nurturing young minds.
The program successfully promoted collaboration between higher education institutions and grassroots schools. It strengthened the Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) ecosystem at an early educational stage and inspired students to see themselves as future innovators and entrepreneurs.
