| NGO’s fake job racket busted | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 6: City police busted a racket being run through a Non Government Organization and interestingly the chairman of the NGO who is the contesting candidate from Doda-Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency, Idrees Ahmed Tabsum, is unaware of the fact. City police led by SDPO City Swatantra Arora on specific information conducted raid in the Krishna Palace hotel and arrested one self style Co-Chairman of the NGO namely J&K Tribal care and development society and recovered fake stamps not only of NGO but of chief engineer MES and some other documents. The imposter identified as Ghulam Mohammad son of Lal Din resident of Chenani looted thousands of rupees from people on the lieu of providing government as well as private jobs to them. Police also recovered application forms of supervisors from his possession while his other associate identified as Devi Dass son of Saddu Ram resident of Harkandflora, Domana is absconding and police has been conducting raids to arrest him. Police came to know the racket when victims approached to police and narrated the incident. During his interrogation he told police that he also sold identity cards of MES bearing chief engineer stamps. Police is questioning them to make the identity of those persons who purchased identity cards from him as the same could be misused during Parliamentary elections. During his interrogation he also told police that the headquarter of the NGO is situated in Mohalla Nariyana and when police conducted raid there was no such address. It is stated that the NGO has headquarter in Talwada. A police team has been dispatched to Talwada for further investigation.
