Jammu, May 07- In order to make the Bus Coupler of 220 KV Yard functional, replace the transformer oil and carry out maintenance of 220 KV MOCB, shut down of 220/132 KV Transformer Bank-1 of Grid Station Udhampur is allowed on May 8, 2009 from 6 a.m. to 12 noon.
During the shut down period, 220/132 KV Transformer Bank-II will take load with rotation curtailment which include 132 KV CSTL Wanpoh circuit from 6 a.m. to 10 am, 132 KV CSTL Batote Circuit from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 132 KV Dul Hasti from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Due to the uprooting of PCC poles in Thather Nallah to be carried out by ERA, the power supply to PHE, MES, Doordarshan, BSF, Lale-da-bagh, Paloura Patta, Muthi, Gangoan, Barnai, Domana, Nagbani, Patoli, Dream City, Sangrampur, Akalpur, Santra More, Camp Road and adjoining areas shall remain affected on May 10,2009 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
According to Chief Engineer, M&RE Wing, Jammu, the shut down shall be subject to fair weather conditions.
